I do not know about you but personally I love to smell the clean. I do not speak in this article of hygiene but of TEXTILE DEODORANT.
Yes yes you read well!
Doing my research, I found a recipe for textile deodorant that allows giving a fresh burst to my clothes and leaves a discrete but very pleasant odor.
For this you will need:
– Solubol Dispersant: This vegetable origin dispersant allows the dissolution of essential oils in water
– Flower of Paradise natural cosmetic fragrance: With floral note and a reminiscent smell of white flowers, with a bit of vanilla
– Essential oil of organic Bergamot: It has calming and purifying properties, it calms the nerves, cleanses the air and brings relaxation and good mood
– Essential oil of organic Niaouli : It is energizing, it stimulates the natural defenses of the body and is a powerful bactericide and antiviral
– Mineral water: not from the tap to avoid limestone
– Cosgard preservative: It is a synthetic preservative very used in organic cosmetics which allows to preserve all the preparations containing an aqueous phase and thus to avoid all formations of molds and bacteria in the preparations containing water. It is antibacterial and antifungal
For the material you will need:
– A precision balance
– A bowl
– A mini whisk
– A recycled or new spray container
And here is the recipe for 200ml:
-0,28oz of solubol dispersant
-0,04oz of natural cosmetic flower fragrance of paradise
-0,01oz of essential oil of organic bergamot
– 0,007oz of essential oil of organic niaouli
-6,6oz of water
When you use an essential oil for the first time, made a prior allergy test in the crease of your elbow and in 48 hours you will be set!
Before to start you have to know that you must be extremely vigilant about the cleanliness of your hands, your work plan and the equipment you use.
You should always wash your hands and wear latex gloves that you will pass under 90º alcohols beforehand and let it dry in the open air.
Same thing for your equipment, you can sterilize your glassware and aluminum objects dipping them 10 good minutes in boiling water.
For all that your PET plastic object, wash them properly and go under 90º alcohols and dry them in the open air on a clean clothe.
Start by pouring and mixing the solubol, the fragrance and the essential oils in your bowl. Once thoroughly mixed, add water gradually.
If your bowl has a pouring spout like mine, pour it all into your container.
Otherwise, help yourself out of a tunnel.
It is very easy to use: Spray the deodorant on the desired clothes and let it dry in the open air.
The result: a light, fresh smell that does not mask bad odors but provides a clean feeling to your clothes.
The price for 6,76oz is $3,13
