CASTILLE SOAP

Let’s talk about a multi-purpose product that has been around for a long time and that I just knew not so long ago: CASTILLE SOAP

Castile soap has been around for hundreds of years and was made in northern Spain from animal fat. In the Kingdom of Castles (Castille) they were made with olive oil.

It is difficult nowadays, even almost impossible, to find a soap of Castille with the same composition as formerly.

For my part I use those from Dr. Bronner brand that are made from vegetable oils such as palm oil, coconut, hemp, jojoba and olive. It is biodegradable and contains no artificial foaming agents, aggressive detergents, fatty acids from vegetable oil or vegetable extracts, petrochemicals or antibacterial chemicals. You will find it both liquid and solid with 8 different fragrances:

  1. – Pepper mint
  2. – Lavender
  3. – Almond
  4. – Tea tree
  5. – Eucalyptus
  6. – Baby unscented
  7. – Rose
  8. – Citrus

Apart from its ecological composition it is especially its multi-use that attracted me:

Here are some uses:

  • – Face cleanser
  • – Shower gel for the body
  • – Shampoo
  • – For a relaxing bath
  • – To shave beards or legs!
  • – As toothpaste
  • – For a relaxing foot bath
  • – To decongest sinuses
  • – To clean daily makeup brushes
  • – As dish soap
  • – As laundry detergent
  • – To clean the floor
  • – To clean the windows
  • – To clean the toilet bowl
  • – To clean fruits and vegetables
  • – To clean our dog
  • – Effective ant-ants

What not to hesitate to try it no!
