I know, it’s been a while since I came back from New Zealand but I forgot to tell you about a very innovative scientific biological beauty brand from New Zealand as indicated on their web page: ANTIPODES.

Indeed ANTIPODES bases its skincare and make-up on a cutting-edge combination of high quality ingredients from New Zealand nature and raw super-fruit extracts with science and innovation to produce organic products certified high technology and premium formulations.

For my part, I looked at the MANUKA HONEY BRIGHTENING LIGHT DAY CREAM WITH BEE VENIN, GRAPE VINANZA AND KIWI (just that!)

What the brand promised me:

Well, to find a bright and fresh face with this bioactive day cream.
The bee venom and the mamaku black fern were to give me a gentle lifting effect.
World-renowned manuka honey, known for its health benefits, helps treat skin blemishes.
The revolutionary Vinanza antioxidants from kiwi grape seeds work with peony flower for an ultimate shiny finish.

The results once my 60ml jar ends:

The application above all is very pleasant and the sweet fragrance of manuka honey is very reassuring!
I didn’t specifically notice any brighten skin (after all I have a matte skin so …).
By cons hydration level is the best of the best!
I just have a little caveat for this cream, I could not use it in summer or during sunny days even with a mild temperature because it made me sweat a lot from the face !!
So I read after the fact that Vinanza Grape & Kiwi improves the entire cell membrane of the skin by decreasing transepidermal water loss … I think that was probably why.

In summary it was a very nice surprise and I would be happy to test other products of the brand soon!
